2019 Scholastic Awards
DEADLINE: December 31, 2018
This is an art/design national competition. It starts with a local competition hosted by SCAD. If you receive a Gold Key locally, then your work moves on to the national competition. The Scholastic Awards look for work that demonstrates originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.
Entry fee is $5 per individual submission. Digital files and payment will be submitted online.
Categories (link to descriptions) ... our work can fit into a couple different categories. But you must specify when you submit the work.
• Design (graphic design, typography, etc)
• Digital Art (manipulated imagery)
• Photography (straight digital, black and white or color)
• Future New (This is a new category in which the work challenges the boundaries of the Scholastic Awards’ current categories. The ChromaDepth composition would fit into this category as new technology ... we would send glasses with it.)
Digital Image Requirements
• Artwork must be submitted as a digital file in JPG, GIF, or PNG format.
• Print dimensions must be at least 5” x 7” and image resolution must be 300 dpi.
