CLWK Robot
In my absence today, try to recreate this robot using the Adobe Illustrator shape tool that we worked with yesterday.
1. Make a new artboard in Illustrator. You choose the size.
2. Control click on the image of the robot in this post. Choose "copy image" from the contextual menu. Go back to your Illustrator artboard. Go to the Edit menu (at the top of Illustrator) and choose Paste. This will paste the robot onto your artboard. Using the black arrow tool, you can move it off to the side if you'd like.
3. Save the artboard. Name it "lastnamefirstinitial_robot.ai" (eg. daytonk_robot.ai). This will be the standard way to save/name a file for me.
4. Recreate the robot using any of the shape tools. Don't forget ... you can manipulate the object/shape using the black and white arrow tools! Be sure to save often.
5. Once you recreate it, add some color.
6. If you finish before the end of class and have extra time, create your own robot using the shape tool.
7. Do not worry about turning this in today. I will show you how to submit files tomorrow in class.
